Paul David Jewellery are an independent jewellers based in the North West of England, who specialise in jewellery and bespoke jewellery design. Our two jewellery showrooms and workshops in Marple and Glossop, both stock a large range of fine, silver and branded jewellery
About Us
Our showrooms and jewellery workshops are where our head designer Paul designs and creates bespoke jewellery. Our dedicated team are both passionate and knowledgeable about the wide range of jewellery and services that we offer.
At Paul David Jewellery, Cheshire and Derbyshire, we pride ourselves on offering a high-class service but with a down to earth, relaxed and friendly approach. We don’t do pushy, we simply offer jewellery and unique pieces of jewellery for every budget and occasion, from fashion-led every-day wear to statement gemstones, as well as classic and contemporary exquisite fine jewellery, diamonds and engagement rings.
Our History
From a shed in the back garden of his family home, our head designer and managing director Paul started his career in jewellery at just 16. Here he started to repair, design and create jewellery. Out of this passion came a vocation, and Paul became a working jeweller for an independent jeweller in the Corn Exchange Manchester.
After the devastation of the Manchester bomb in 1996, Paul decided to open his own jewellery workshop and showroom in Marple, which was closely followed by meeting his wife Lucy and the opening of the Glossop showroom
Paul’s aim was to achieve the highest standards in jewellery making whilst offering the best customer service and retailing jewellery at an affordable price.
To achieve this, our diamonds are sourced from the world's major cutting centres, including Antwerp, Tel Aviv and Surat, before being carefully graded using the four C's - Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat.
Our precious and semi-precious coloured stones are also sourced from around the globe and Paul often visits these locations to gain more insight into their origins, which has now become something of a passion of his. This results in a superb collection of diamond and coloured stone jewellery of the highest quality at unrivalled value.
Services
To complement our extensive range of jewellery, within our design workshop, we undertake all important repair, cleaning and restorative work on valued pieces of jewellery and watches.
In addition to these services, our design team led by Paul can create innovative designs to refashion jewellery into the very latest style or to a customer’s specific requirement.
